The colour of skin has been responsible for so many events in history that most people never seem to get beyond it. It may also be that cause of personal trauma for many of us. Colour of the skin is predominantly determind by one pigment meline. We are all born with a certain quantity of melanin in our skin. This is called our constitutive pigmentation and would remain the same throughout our lives if we never exposed ourselves to the sun.
